The title of our blog may confuse people, but it is a reference to Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: 

[to Indiana, while watching a Nazi parade and book burning] 
Professor Henry Jones: My son, we're pilgrims in an unholy land. 

Not to imply that we are living where people have book burnings, but rather,  us feeling out of place. That and we really like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade which is the best Indiana Jones movie.  

While we like living in New Hampshire, the scenery/landscape is amazing. Coming from city life in Texas, and moving to a place where you can drive to the mountains and go to the beach in the same state is pretty cool, it doesn't feel like home. We both grew up in Texas, and love it there. From Braum's to the Mavs and the Cowboys- its just pure awesomeness.

We chose the pen name Gulliver because he was a traveller who went on interesting journeys. We aren't world travelers but we consider our life an interesting journey. 

I decided to start this blog, with my husband, because I wanted  a way for people who we didn't talk to as frequently to have away to see what's going on with us, without the awkward- jeez its ben a long time since we talked, and calling or emailing out of the blue is kinda weird.  And everyone knows thats really awkward. So I hope y'all enjoy reading our blog which will probably be about gossip (I am a shameless celebrity gossip reader), fashion, running, us, and the kitchen sink.
